Helen Carol Barker
1966 - 2023
This site is a tribute to Helen Barker, who was born in Otley on December 24, 1966. She is much loved and will always be remembered.
Our mum Helen Stewart died on September 11th 2012 after a two year fight with Ovarian Cancer, less than a month after her 65th birthday.
She was born in Yorkshire although she grew up in Gloucestershire and spent 30 years living in Berry Hill where she was a Labour party Forest of Dean district councillor twice.

Sadly passed away peacefully on 28th May 2016, aged 92. Dearly loved wife, mother and grandmother
who will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
This site is a tribute to Jacqueline Needham. She is much loved and will always be remembered.
We only knew Jane briefly but I think she left an impression on each of us. In our sadness of her passing and enormous admiration of her achievements and fortitude we would like to remember her life by donating to others who are battling cancer.

My mum, Jean James, and my younger sister, Sarah James, both died of ovarian cancer in 2005.
I want to celebrate their grace, beauty and generosity by doing what I can to help end the disease, and until that happens to support those who are experiencing it directly or through those they love.
These women, and others, made me.
Jean was diagnosed with widespread ovarian cancer in January 2012 and passed away at home at 0830 on 29th September 2012 aged 85 years
